Welcome to Mrs. Crowley's Fifth Grade!
This year we will be studying explorers, U.S. history, specifically the colonial era, including the Revolutionary War and the Civil War. In science, we will explore ecosystems, rocks and minerals, space, and light and sound. Our literacy units will include reading historical novels that connect to our social studies units. We will also read novels from various genres such as mystery, animal fiction, biographies, realistic fiction and adventure.
