Principal Bazyk's Summer Fun

This summer I am thinking I would like to:
1. Go to the Adirondacks , (Serenac Lake) for a few nights paddling arount the lake in our wooden canoe.
2. Hike around Vermont - Bromley Mountain, Stratton Mountain, Haystack mountain
3. Read a really good book, I have not picked one out yet, but I am looking forward in researching and asking others for a book to
read.

Pick a country you are interested in or already know a lot about and share your learning by typing up Country Facts on a document. Create a picture about your country. Give a video recording about your country. Make a story about a country. The objective of this assignment is to learn or teach new things about the many different countries on this wonderful planet. I will be attempting a Flipgrid to share my country learning with all of you.
For now I will share some things I know:

Norway

Did you know that the longest road tunnel is in Norway? Norway is a Scandinavian country in Northern Europe. The island of Hidra, is one of many islands that sits quaintly in the fjords. A fjord is a long and narrow waterway of the sea between high cliffs. The island of Hidra is a popular vacation spot during the summer months. Back in the day fishing was the main industry for Hidra. Now Hidra has changed to mostly salmon fishing farms and local fishing. Tusen takk, which means "thank you very much" for reading about Norwary.

This week in honor and appreciation of our teachers, I am encouraging you to share something with me about your teacher/teachers. This is a choice assignment. You can write a poem, write a letter, do an acrostic (An acrostic is a poem in which the first letter of each line spells out a word, message, or the alphabet), or take a picture of a drawing and email this to me.
I have included an example in which I wrote a haiku.
