4V Art Assignments

-watch the video in the slideshow(make up any work not complete or you did not submit evidence of work for.)
-open your google docs and complete fully!
-When evidence of all 7 assignments is submitted to me I will send you an art award for effort.

1st-Watch the slide show including the video on slide 3 of me explaining this weeks assignment. Attendance will be taken when you turn your assignment in.
2nd-Complete one of the attached tasks
3rd-take a picture and upload it here or tell me about what you did.

1-Play the slideshow
2-Play video 1 and 2 on Slide 2 and look at slide 3 for field trip information
3-Go on a field trip to the Bennington Museum's Aiken Wildflower Trail. (Optional)
4-If the field trip does not fit in your schedule, choose an activity at the bottom of the slide for Art.
5-As always please take a picture and send it to me.

The first week of May is Teacher Appreciation Day and I would like to put together a slide show of art for all the Molly Stark teachers from our learners. This is an optional assignment. If you would like to participate please submit a photograph of the art and uploaded it here by Friday May 1st.

Need inspiration.
1- “Thank you for spreading our wings and teaching us to fly” butterfly or bird art
2- “Thank you for planting our love for learning” flower or plant art

Below are some how to draw guides for those who prefer to have a step by step handout.

Complete all items on slide 1's to do list.
You can complete your art activity at any point during the week as long as your picture is turned in by Friday. If you are unable to upload a picture can you please write a couple of sentence about what you did or learned and then private message me in the space provided directly below where you would mark as done. Then you may turn in the assignment as done. If you have any questions or concerns please use the private message app or email me at [email protected]. I am turning commenting off only because I am having difficulty finding all the comments within the streams and assignments my 12 classrooms.

3-This week you will use the collected materials from week 1 to create your art. Think about the problems you might have to solve in order to create this week. What will I use to hold my items together? (paper clips, yarn, sticks, grape vine, etc. how will I hang it my project(if needed)? Fishing line, rope, shoe string
4-Take a picture of your work and upload it here.
5-Create a teacher appreciation (OPTIONAL) piece of art and upload it in that assignment below this assignment.

1-Earth Day slide show attached below. Watch the slide show, complete attendance, browse the resources, gather materials, and take a photo of you gathering items or of the items you gathered and upload the picture above where it says turn in assignment. Slide show directions are attached below for uploading a picture from a laptop.
2-15-20 minutes a week is all that is required of art. If you would like to continue that is completely up to you. Take pictures of all work completed.
3-Attendance is taken on your art day. You can find the link to your attendance in the attached slide show. If you do not complete the attendance by answering the 3 questions yo will be marked absent and the school will be notified. Please complete the attendance in the correct grade and select the correct homeroom teacher. You are required to upload photos of work completed by Friday evening regardless of when your class is.

3-week 2 of this assignment will be to create with the recycled or organic items that you have collected. You will still be required to come to class next week and take attendance and upload final photos.

2. determine which one you want to complete. There are many options that vary in difficulty. I added the circle with checkerboard. Some have already done this one, but you are welcome to do it again and make it you own or search for a challenge. I will make a video of a few choices that you can try.
